Celebrating Teachers Who Inspire Through Creativity, Encouragement, and Classroom Joy

Decatur, Downtown Decatur, Adair Park, East Lake, Toco Hills, North Druid Hills, Oakhurst, Lenox Park, Winnona Park, Avondale Estates, and Scottsdale families know the truth: our teachers are extraordinary. Every school year, educators across our area bring creativity, encouragement, color, and joy into their classrooms in ways which make students feel excited to learn. Some wear themed outfits for special lessons. Others decorate their classrooms with bright, imaginative designs. Many embrace expressive fashion which reflects their personality and their love for teaching.

This joyful approach to education is more than style. It is a way of creating connections. When students see a teacher who is excited, expressive, and full of positive energy, they feel safe, supported, and ready to learn. These teachers remind us that education is not only about academics. It is also about joy, confidence, achievement, and belonging.

I  know these teachers are here in Decatur, Downtown Decatur, Adair Park, East Lake, Toco Hills, North Druid Hills, Oakhurst, Lenox Park, Winnona Park, Avondale Estates, and Scottsdale, and I want to celebrate them. If you know an educator who uses creativity, fashion, color, or classroom design to uplift students, we want to feature them in a special spotlight across Decatur Macaroni KID.  Submissions will be accepted through Friday, October 9th at 11:59 pm.

Nominate your favorite educator and help me highlight the teachers who make learning unforgettable. After all, appreciation goes a long way.

PEACE, Love & Macaroni,

Kimberly~
